TAKE MY HAND travelled with the group project,
SACRED THREADS BACKYARD EXCAPE. The project was coordinated by
SACRED THREADS.. The art quilts travelled to various hospital galleries. The final showing was at Sacred Threads 2022 in Herndon, VA.

ONE SUITCASE
ONE SUITCASE is in the permanent collection and is part of an exhibit at The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center in Powell, Wyoming called “The Fabric of Memory.” This special exhibit features original works of fiber art from members of the Textile Artists of the Greater Yellowstone (TAGY). The pieces are inspired by Heart Mountain and the lives of the incarcerees living in its shadow during WWII. The significance of One Suitcase is that the Japanese Americans that were taken to Heart Mountain were allowed to bring one suitcase of their belongings. Books of the exhibit are available at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center.
